  • 21 oz can strawberry pie filling

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • to taste fresh strawberries for garnish Optional.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix well until fully combined.
  5. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry layer, spreading it gently.
  6. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Pour the melted butter over the entire top layer of cake mix, ensuring it covers as much as possible.
  8. Place in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm or chilled, garnished with fresh strawberries if desired.
