Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and raspberry preserves until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay the dough out in a circle on your prepared sheet, with the points of the triangles facing outward.
  4. Place spoonfuls of your cream cheese mixture on the wide ends of the crescent triangles.
  5. Fold the pointed ends of each triangle over the filling and tuck them under the dough to create a ring shape.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before adding any additional toppings, then slice and enjoy.
