Dough Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Incorporate pumpkin puree and melted butter, followed by the egg.
  3. Gradually knead in flour and spices until a soft dough forms.
First Rise
  1. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes on a floured surface until smooth.
  2. Place it in an oiled bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm environment until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
Filling and Shaping
  1. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  2. Roll the risen dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, spread the filling evenly, then tightly roll it up from one end to the other.
  3. Slice the log into 12 rolls, placing them in a greased baking dish.
Second Rise and Bake
  1. Cover the rolls and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Frosting
  1. Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Once the rolls are baked and slightly cooled, generously spread the frosting on top.

Notes

Don't rush the rising times for fluffy rolls. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature to promote proper rising. Adjust spice levels to your taste.
