Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing your fresh peaches and removing the pits.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
Making the Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Incorporate softened butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Assembling the Crisp
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit, covering it entirely.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peach juices are bubbling.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow your peach crisp to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes
