Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1 package Oreos Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
For the filling
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt or blended cottage cheese Use Greek yogurt for a thicker texture
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Bring to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For topping
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or extra crushed Oreos

Preparation
  1. Set all your ingredients out for a smoother process.
Make the Oreo Crust
  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor or blender until you have fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and chill in the refrigerator.
Create the Creamy Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together Greek yogurt (or blended cottage cheese), cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  2. Pour the filling over the chilled Oreo crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
  3. Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for better results.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Before serving, add chocolate shavings or extra crushed Oreos on top.
  2. Remove the sides of the springform pan, slice, and serve.

Notes

For best results, let the cheesecake chill overnight. Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother filling. You can substitute vanilla extract with mint or almond extract for variation. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
