Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely crushed or use a zip-top bag and rolling pin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and mix until well combined.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes to firm up the balls.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each Oreo ball in the melted chocolate using a fork, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Optional: Sprinkle crushed Oreos or drizzle white chocolate on top.
- Chill the balls again in the fridge for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Once the chocolate has hardened, enjoy your Oreo balls!
Notes
For best results, use high-quality chocolate and keep Oreo balls chilled until serving. You can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
