Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1 pack Graham cracker crumbs Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter Melted
For the layers
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk This acts as the glue for the bars
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Adds richness
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips Adds sweetness
  • 1 cup shredded coconut For chewiness
  • 1 cup chopped nuts Walnuts or pecans for crunch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter until well combined, then press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Layering
  1. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  2. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips liberally across the top.
  3. Add the shredded coconut and chopped nuts, making sure to cover every inch.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and center is set.
Cooling
  1. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t overbake — aim for a golden edge with a slightly soft middle.
