Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers Serves as the base of the bars.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Helps bind the crust together.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adds sweetness to the crust.
For the layers
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz) Binds everything together.
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips Can use semi-sweet or milk chocolate.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Sweetened or unsweetened according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) Optional, can be omitted for a nut-free version.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of crushed graham crackers, 1/2 cup of melted butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar. Stir until well combined and crumbly.
  3. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.
Baking
  1. Drizzle a can (14 oz) of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk over the crust, ensuring it is covered completely.
  2. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips, 1 cup of shredded coconut, and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts evenly over the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  4. Allow the bars to cool in the pan completely before cutting them into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can mix chocolates, add fruits, or use gluten-free ingredients for variations.
