  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the sweetness of the peaches.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves For a refreshing twist.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly, then peel and slice them into chunks.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine peach chunks, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or lemon juice as needed.
  4. Transfer the peach blend to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Churning
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours to firm up.
Serving
  1. Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.

Notes

For a smoother texture without an ice cream maker, freeze the blended mixture in a shallow tray and stir every 30 minutes until frozen. Store in an airtight container to avoid freezer burn.
