Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the peanut butter blend, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat them in granulated sugar. Place them on a lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow cookies to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients. Chill the dough for a thicker cookie and do not overbake.
